PANE E LATTE

Pane e Latte, a beachside bakery for Pirata Group. Evoking of the sunbaked Amalfi coast, this unique concept was commisioned to set a new standard for Hong Kong’s Southside.

The aesthetic for this project is based on cliffside homes in Positano, striped beach parasols, and light pastel gelato inspired colours. This project won an award at the New York Design Awards, for ‘Best International Project’, and is one of my recent favourites. This site has become incredibly pop- ular as a destination Instagram spot within in Hong Kong, and stands out sharply against Stanley’s relatively monotonous beach side.
